Engels are a team of international professionals rooted in Los Angeles. Arturo, hailing from Mallorca, Spain, and Lauren, with her upbringing in Hong Kong, bring a global perspective and a profound knack for capturing the essence and context of diverse locales. Their combined experiences enable them to holistically embrace the influences and unique facets of each location they encounter.

ARTURO

Arturo Engel, a Barcelona native who spent his formative years in coastal Mallorca, is a distinguished photographer and videographer specializing in architectural, interiors, and design projects across Europe. Raised in a culturally rich environment influenced by beach resorts, historical remnants from Roman and Moorish eras, and exposure to both counterculture and hospitality, Arturo honed his skills in strobing and post-production techniques.

In the early stages of the DSLR revolution, Arturo pioneered architectural filmmaking, earning acclaim for being one of the first to shoot architecture videography in 8K footage. With over 15+ years of experience shooting spaces, Arturo has evolved into one of the leading international architecture photographers/filmmakers. His demand for work has transcended borders, contributing to projects in various countries and regions.

Since 2022, Arturo has been based in Los Angeles, further expanding his reach and contributing his seasoned expertise to architectural projects across the globe. His portfolio spans diverse industries, encompassing hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. With a wealth of experience, Arturo stands as a seasoned veteran in architectural filmmaking, offering valuable insights and expertise to those seeking to embark on or advance their careers in the field.

LAUREN

Lauren Engel oversees all facets of business, marketing, and operations for Arturo+Lauren. Raised in Hong Kong, Lauren cultivated a passion for capturing architectural and interior environments.

Leveraging her robust background in digital marketing, Lauren brings a wealth of experience to understand client branding, navigate marketing project scopes, and contribute to growth strategies.

Her noteworthy roles at major companies include managing Disney's app, spearheading marketing and SEO campaigns for Hulu, National Geographic, and the Oscars, leading organic traffic for HYPEBEAST on an international scale, and analyzing digital campaigns for Comcast NBCUniversal.

Lauren earned her Bachelor's in Business Administration and International Affairs from Northeastern University in Boston.

Ivonne, a dynamic multidisciplinary designer and art director hailing from Mexico, brings over 9 years of expertise to the realm of visual storytelling.
