ABOUT THE PROJECT

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills came to us following a full-scale renovation. Nearly every part of the property had been reimagined, from the restaurant to the rooftop and public spaces, with the exception of the guest rooms.

The brief was to create a new set of images and films that reflected that shift. The previous visuals no longer matched the direction of the hotel or the updated brand. This needed to feel current, more editorial, and aligned with how the property was being positioned moving forward.

We approached it as a full reset.

The shoot was spread across multiple phases, starting with the suites, then the restaurant, followed by the lobby and rooftop. Because of that, continuity became a key focus. Each space was captured on different days, but the final set needed to feel cohesive, like it existed within the same moment and atmosphere.

PRE-PRODUCTION

From the beginning, we focused on balance. The architecture needed to feel clean and intentional, while still bringing in a sense of life. We layered in lifestyle moments throughout, working with talent cast by the PR team to introduce movement and presence without overpowering the space.

A lot of the decisions came down to restraint. Letting the materials, light, and composition lead, while shaping subtle moments that reflect how a guest would actually move through the hotel.

Across six days, we built out a content library designed to support the property long term, from booking pages to ongoing campaigns. The goal wasn’t just to document the renovation, but to translate it into something that feels relevant the moment someone lands on the brand.
