Arturo+Lauren (Arturo Sanchez and Lauren Engel) are photographers and cinematographers focusing their shared expertise on architecture and interior design. Together, they have more than 25 years of experience capturing various brands’ visual language and elevating their stories with compelling imagery. The duo has developed a tailored approach for each residential, commercial, and hospitality client that articulates how a built environment is ignited by everyday, human interactions and what that means for their cultural narrative. 

Arturo+Lauren want a video editor to create videos including behind-the-scenes, how-to videos and vlogs to be used for their portfolio and social media including YouTube, Instagram and Linkedin.  We are looking for a freelance video editor (based anywhere) to help us edit our videos!  The role is a fully remote freelance role.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Video Editor is responsible for the execution of the video editing for the behind-the-scenes, tutorials, and vlog videos. This role reports to Lauren Engel.  The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for video editing that reflects a sophisticated, luxurious, and laid-back nature.  You should have excellent organization and communication skills, extremely high attention to detail, as well as the ongoing determination to meet and overcome challenges. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Edit 1-3 full-length videos per month 

  • Reel videos

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • Interest in interior design, architecture, and photography

  • LOVES video editing

  • Desire to be a part of a fast-paced start-up

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Resourceful team player
