ABOUT THE PROJECT

Airweave partnered with Olympic gold medalist Meryl Davis to create new content for their U.S. division. The goal was to tell Meryl’s story—life after the Olympics, the discipline behind her success, and the routines that keep her balanced—while seamlessly weaving in Airweave’s mattresses, toppers, and futons. The shoot combined lifestyle video, audio storytelling, and hero photography, designed to capture a more personal, narrative-driven approach than the brand’s Japanese campaigns.

The client selected the Anderson House in Topanga as the setting, and we assembled a full team to bring the project to life. Our crew handled the photography while a dedicated DP focused on video. Meryl joined us later in the day, starting with an intimate audio session where she spoke about her Olympic journey and life beyond competition. From there, we captured b-roll to illustrate her story.

PRE-PRODUCTION

We built a detailed shot list covering talent, equipment, angles, and timing. Our producer ran a tight schedule so every moment on set was used effectively. On shoot day, precision was key—especially in presenting the mattress flawlessly, knowing that even small imperfections couldn’t be corrected in post. The result was a seamless workflow and a polished story that balanced Airweave’s products with Meryl’s personal narrative.
