ABOUT THE PROJECT

One Rangers Way is a luxury residential development in Arlington, Texas, designed for a specific kind of resident, those drawn to the energy of the surrounding sports and entertainment district. The goal wasn’t to present it as a traditional high-end property, but to create something that felt connected to the lifestyle around it.

From the beginning, we approached the project as a contrast. Inside, we focused on calm, quiet, and a sense of retreat. Outside, the tone shifted to something more dynamic, capturing the energy of the area and the rhythm of the neighborhood.

PRE-PRODUCTION

Before the shoot, we worked with the developer to define how the property should be experienced, not just documented. The focus was on positioning One Rangers Way in a way that felt aligned with its surroundings, drawing in residents who are connected to the energy of the district while still valuing a sense of retreat at home.

We mapped out how that contrast would play out visually. Interiors were approached with a more restrained, atmospheric tone, while the exterior moments were designed to feel more active and connected to the neighborhood.

This stage also allowed us to plan around variables that could affect the shoot. With weather shifting throughout the week, we adjusted the schedule to prioritize interiors and built out a structure that still supported the overall narrative.

By the time we arrived on set, the direction was already clear, which allowed the production to move efficiently while staying focused on the bigger picture.

The shoot took place over three days, with a heavy focus on interiors due to weather. Rather than seeing that as a limitation, we leaned into it. We built a more immersive experience within the space, using movement and perspective to create a sense of depth and atmosphere, including moments that feel almost submerged and transportive.

Every decision was tied to how someone would experience living there, not just how the building looks, but how it feels to move through it, to step out into the city, and to come back into a quieter, more grounded environment.
