Cosentino Group is a global, Spanish, family-owned company that both produces and distributes high-value innovative surfaces for the world of design and architecture. The group works together with their clients and partners to provide solutions that offer valuable designs and inspire the lives of many.

The Cosentino Group wanted a set of mesmerizing photos that would emulate the timeless style that dwells throughout their many store locations across the globe. Arturo+Lauren were entrusted with photographing the office and retail space, seeking to enhance its minimalistic design to one that would capture the allure of its simplistic nature, all while echoing the more lively aspects as found in it’s meeting room’s marble walls and resplendent wooden showroom - which shares the room with accents of charming greenery. This would be the Cosentino Group’s first store opening in Mallorca, Spain. So, for such an acclaimed company to have sought out the duo to execute their needs on such a pivotal project was an immense honor.
This upscale store was located directly on the street, serving as a hurdle forArturo+Lauren to capture many key angles which would be essential highlights for their client's marketing needs. Other technical challenges were met due to the reflections that were present. The duo notes, “reflections are always a challenge in this type of job where glass windows and shiny surfaces are so predominant, so we have to be very vigilant about utilizing the correct tools to avoid possible distractions.” Production challenges arose as well, as the pair wanted to embody a feel of natural interaction between the employees in a way that wouldn’t feel unnatural on camera, all while authentically integrating the functionality of the space as well. Here is where the duo’s suggestion of videography played such a vital role in taking things to the next level because, on video, everything that may look simple at first glance was able to be so sublimely brought to life in a way that is easier to communicate to viewers on film rather than through photos alone.
For this 1.5-day shoot, phenomenal angles took priority over the number of images they would need to produce, and they had to move swiftly in order to tackle the given obstacles. Arturo+Lauren coordinated with the police to section off the areas they would need to utilize for those more delicate angles, blocking off the cars that were initially obscuring prime shots of the facade. True employees and customers were implemented throughout the photographs - unveiling the inherent chemistry that is ignited between the space and the people within it. This also helped them to bring an understanding of each area's functionality and create an engaging dynamic for each image. Grasping their client’s desires to elevate their digital look online, Artuo+Lauren suggested videography for the space. Seeing videography as a sure way to enhance the company’s marketing efforts in the press and on their company website. Capturing the variety and appeal of the Cosentino Group’s most cultivated materials, elegantly present throughout every corner of the store.
Arturo+Lauren’s ability to grasp their client’s concepts and look within an artful lens that executes next-level visuals for these esteemed designers led to the regional representative offering a partnership with the duo.
